Dear Resident, This week has seen officers on our team make several arrests across the week. On Sunday Two of our officers were on patrol when they spotted two vehicles travelling together. The officers pulled one of the vehicles due to the actions of the driver. Initial checks showed that the driver of the vehicle did not have a licence or insurance for the vehicle. The officers conducted further checks which showed the drivers visa had expired. The driver of the vehicle was arrested for immigration offences, and the vehicle was seized for the motoring offences.
On Tuesday evening officers noticed two females acting suspicious carrying items from local shops. The officers stopped the females to speak to them, and it became clear that the items had been obtained by the females by way of shoplifting. The two females were arrested and transported to Coventry custody. The items were returned to the store they were stolen from Then on Wednesday afternoon officers spotted a vehicle and two persons acting suspicious at a petrol station. the officers approached and stopped the males. Checks on the vehicle showed that it was actually a stolen vehicle. The two males were promptly arrested and a search of males and vehicle conducted. The officer also found a quantity of suspected class A drugs in the vehicle as well as a baseball bat and an imitation firearm. One of the two males was also wanted for Burglary offences.

Crime Figures There were Three reported vehicle offence in the past Nine Days on the Holbrooks Ward. There were Two Theft from Motor Vehicle offences that took place on Lowe Road and Holbrook Lane. There was One Unauthorised taking of a Motor Vehicle which took place on Lauderdale Avenue. There were Two reported burglary offence in the past Nine Days on the Holbrooks Ward. These were both Burglary of a Residential Home that took place on Lowe Road and Penny Park Lane.
